Cameroon's republic presidential electoral system receives a failing score of 2.5 percent for electoral fairness

In buildup to the 2012 Cameroonian Presidential election, Cameroon's republic presidential electoral system receives a score of 2.5 percent for electoral fairness. (50 percent is a passing grade; 70 percent is a satisfactory grade.) Cameroonians face difficult choices as their lives and society are held in the grip of an authoritarian regime masked by the shell of democracy.
